Refund Policy
Our refund policy explains when and how you can request refunds for PDF Genius services. Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are only granted in limited and specific situations.
PDF Genius offers various features and payment options available in the Terms of Use. Due to the nature of digital products and instant access to features, refunds are only granted in limited and specific situations. Once you start using PDFGenius, you agree to immediate delivery of digital service and understand you will not get a refund unless the service is defective or under conditions not expressly stated herein.
Refunds may be granted in the following situations only:
1) Recurring Technical Errors
We offer a full refund if the users are constantly experiencing recurring technical errors that prevent them from using PDF Genius services properly, and these errors cannot be resolved within 7 business days after users send us a written notification. To qualify for a refund, your notification must include detailed documentation such as screenshots, log files, and a description of the issue. The 7-day period begins once we receive your complete notification. If we fail to resolve the issue within this timeframe, a full refund will be issued.
2) Duplicate Subscription Purchase
A full refund will also be issued if the users accidentally purchase two or more identical subscription plans at the same time, and notified us within 3 business days of the purchase. Please note that our internal financial records will be used to verify any duplicate or mistaken payments.
Refunds will not be issued in the following scenarios:
- If your subscription was used for multiple (more than one) exports, downloads, or modifications.
- If your refund request is made more than 7 days after the subscription date (unless otherwise required by law).
- If you simply changed your mind after using the service.
- If you encountered issues caused by using an incompatible device or browser, when our platform meets all clearly stated system requirements.
- If your subscription auto-renewed, and you did not cancel it before the renewal date, or if you failed to cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle, and were charged accordingly.
- If you have used any premium features or tools (PDF conversion, editing, compression, merging, e-signing etc.), even once, no refunds will be granted.
Please note that no refunds will be issued after 30 days from the original payment date, under any circumstance. Also, refunds will not be granted for problems caused by user negligence, such as violating the Terms of Use or failing to follow platform instructions.
For canceling your subscription, changing your plan and learning more about payment options, please read our Terms of Use. If this Refund Policy conflicts with the Terms of Use, this Refund Policy will apply. The Refund Policy is effective upon publication, and PDFGenius reserves the right to make updates to this policy at any time.
